Summary
Vor-Tex uses the assignment of user roles so that account administrators can control what users can and cannot do.
Roles Summary:
- Owner: Owns the account, has the permissions of the administrator role, and can also manage the account subscription.
- Administrators: Has the permissions of the roles below and can also access the account settings.
- Publishers: Can create, edit, publish, republish and delete APIs but cannot access account settings.
- Editors: Can create, edit and delete APIs, but cannot publish and access account settings.
- Developers: Access to the Developer Portal only
A role defines a set of actions that a user assigned that role can perform. For example, the owner role covers all possible actions that can be taken on the platform. The owner can also limit the actions carried out by other users by assigning roles.
